Nancy G. Allen

President, WBENC

Nancy G. Allen is an international speaker, coach, consultant, author and expert on women’s business issues. For more than 30 years, she has been helping small business owners at all stages of growth. As president and CEO of the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of Florida, Nancy manages a team of staff, sponsors, partners and women business leaders who are dedicated to certifying, connecting and championing women in business.


Nancy has been recognized for her work on behalf of women in business through numerous prestigious awards, including being named as one of South Florida’s 100 most accomplished Caribbean Americans by the International Career and Business Alliance (ICABA); a World Women Leadership Achievement Award from the World Women Leadership Congress; an Association Marketing Award from Women in Ecommerce; and Honorary Ambassador of Cascais, Portugal, by the Ambassador’s Club of the Industry Sector of Cascais and the Estoril Coast.


Her clients have included UPS, the Urban League, AARP, New York Life, State Farm, the Women of Color Empowerment Institute and WEConnect International. Her speaking, training and consulting topics include: promoting supplier diversity, negotiation skills, leadership, strategic planning, building strategic alliances, and making elegant transitions.


Nancy is the author of The Decision to Scale: 25 Tips for Women-Owned Businesses Looking to Grow. She has dedicated the book to women business owners who have inspired her over the years. The book offers tips, tools, resources and inspiration for women looking to scale their business to the next level.


Nancy’s personal motto is connections, creativity and courage in all endeavors. She holds a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Nancy was born in Haiti and raised in South Florida, where she still lives today. She is bilingual in English and French and is fluent in Spanish and Creole.
