“Empowering Women Worldwide”
Focusing on Productivity, Profitability, Perseverance, Passion, and Power, to excel in Leadership & Entrepreneurship

The M. Gill*HER Foundation was born out of passion, power, and the philanthropic attitude of its visionary and founder, Ms. Marie R. Gill.

Ms. Gill, Founder and President of M. Gill & Associates, Inc., is a successful businesswoman with decades of experience in supporting thousands of small, minority, women, and veteran-owned firms to scale throughout the U.S. and Internationally.

As an economic development practitioner, she has maintained strong ties as a successful contractor with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s - Minority Business Development Agency since 2001. She is responsible for facilitating over $6.9 billion in awarded contracts and financing to minority and women-owned firms, and with over 22,000 U.S. jobs created and retained as a result of her leadership and hard work.

Continuing her phenomenal legacy, and in celebration of her company’s 30th anniversary in 2020, Marie Gill used her personal funds to launch the M. Gill*HER Foundation, a nonprofit organization designed to empower, educate, and provide funding support to businesses owned by women of color, to assist them to succeed and scale in US and global markets, thereby holistically enriching the lives of women worldwide!

The M. Gill*HER Foundation further seeks to identify and honor women of color who have contributed to the development and advancement of women, worldwide.  Through her Foundation, Marie Gill seeks to provide and enhance the tools and resources necessary for women’s personal and economic  development, wherever they may be.  With the “Women Mean Business International Conference” as a platform, the M. Gill*Her Foundation continues to host the Women Mean Business International Conference, now in its 13th year.  We have already established partnerships with international Women’s Organizations throughout the U.S., the Caribbean and Africa.  Notable are:  The National Association of Caribbean Businesswomen, the Organization of Women in International Trade in Nigeria (OWIT Nigeria), OWIT South Florida, and various chambers of commerce.
